Hey illusionists!

I have been ridiculously spending my money on coffee(and paint) and not enough clothes...I have restricted myself from walking into my favorite stores just so I won't spend any money on clothes....My bank account has been horribly suffering from my growing expenses towards coffee. There is no solution for it. I can't stop buying coffee I'm addicted. I can't cut down my cravings because it is just too darn good. I just need to work and get some money. But I don't plan on doing that until school gets out in May

On a brighter note, I did permit myself to go into the Thrift store to only find men's cardigan vests. Sadly, they did not have any but I did find a cute cream colored Fox cardigan along with a vintage University of Illinois Tank top with neon colors, a turquoise and navy skinny belt and a stretchy deep purple belt with a huge gold buckle. I only spent $8. NICE.

I need to spend my money soon on High Waisted Jeans(Wide Leg and Skinny), high- waist shorts, Men's cardigan vest, and the AA pencil dress. Some like these beauties:

I look forward to buying these shorts and wearing them with a white wife beater and gladiator sandals.

I want these pants to own my life and others.

I wanted more of a solid vest but diffentiated stripes could work.

All of these are on Forever21.com.

Just the Greatest!

This has been the greatest month of my life! I have been in the process of getting toned up and getting back to the weight I was my sophomore year of high school, which was 3 years ago. I was 145 lbs and like 5'7....Now I'm 5'9 and at 160 lbs, maybe less. I loss 2 inches off my waist. I used to be a size 32 now I'm a 30. Firstly I gave up fried/fast foods for lent. That helped tons! I started working out 3-4 times a week and cooking instead of going out to eat. I loosened up on the alcohol, adding skim milk to my coffee and drinking more water.

I also discovered a amazing line of skin products from Finland called, Lumene. It's all natural ingredient and keeps my skin radiant! And I've only been using it for 2 days. It's great.

Three new albums from my some of favorite artists are also being released this month: Mickey Avalon,The Matches, and Panic! at the Disco. I got some leaked songs from the new album of The Matches and Panic! If you ask me, Panic! is going down a bad route. It's not sounding like them and not even all that great. I probably won't buy that album. The Matches new album is sounding great so far. Most likely I will buy their album or download the whole thing. I only found one leaked song from Mickey and it's good, kind of catchy. I need more songs to tell whether or not I'll buy/download the rest.

I'm also counting down the months until I move to NYC. 4 months left! I get uber excited by the second. I have yet to hear from any schools. I still need to complete and send more stuff in to 1 school to get a final answer. I'm waiting to hear from 2 schools now. It's going to take from 3-5 weeks. *Sigh*....Wish me luck on getting accepted to FIT.

Enjoy your Tuesday!

My favorite fall 2008 looks

I decided to dedicate today to some of my favorite upcoming fall 2008 looks. I've been daydreaming about writing a blog with runway relevancy and today was the day. I found some interesting looks and some I absolutely fell in LOVE with! Enjoy...

This design is from a project runway designer. I would have to guess it was the architect with 5 kids and bright red hair. I can't believe I forgot her name.

This guy and runway outfit reminds me of Johnny Depp so much. I'm in love with this model. Anybody knows his name?

The best combination for winter style. D&G .If my future boyfriend dressed like this, I would love him long time. I love the aviator pants and the boots with the furrr....

This is my summer style. Big hair, High waists and deep plunges!

I love this look! very James Bond-esque

I love these mustard yellow tights! The Dress is great. It's so delicate and well made.

This is an updated version Charlie's Angels outfit from Lucy Liu.

This outfit reminds me of the way a female should dress during the summer or while on vacation. I love the teal!

My favorite model, Liya Kebede...

I love all black from head to toe, especially with cigarette leather pants.

This is a more mature look from the Prouenza dress above. The colors are warmer, more Victorian, more femme!

This is a design by Mara Hoffman. Over sized scarfs are the great! Also the charcoal grey!

This dress is made by Aquascutum. Color block dresses in unexpected colors are amazing! Purple and orange is one of my favorite color combos.

Have a good day guys!

Zoe Kravitz

Today is dedicated to one of my favorite stylish celebrity, Zoe Kravitz. She's the daughter of the beautiful Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Her style is always so carefree hippie and chic. She does not get enough credit for her great style. Her hair is always so long and wavy. She usually pins it back flower child style or just down.I think she always look amazing!

Here she takes a more simple approach, so does her cute daddy. She wears sheer light grey blouse with a high waisted pleated pencil skirt. Lenny does a Leather jacket, grey tee and denim jeans.

She wears a dress with the top half made with delicate crochet and underneath a leopard print bra. The bottom half of the dress is played up with a large yellow flower print. She keeps her bold accessories to a minimum. NICE

Here she wears a black oversized cardigan, white wifebeater, ripped denim mini skirt, tiger boots and Marc Jacobs Stam bag.

Unisex Graphic Tees

Hi!
My friend told me about this indie L.A. based clothing shop, Crystal City Clothing about a year ago. He had this amazing shirt on that I instantly fell in love with. Luckily, Crystal City had it's own website(www.crystalcityclothing.com). It has a bunch of cool graphic tees, bandannas, hoodies, and handmade items. I would describe it as simplicity mixed with edginess and intensity. The t-shirts range from about $17-$20. They are made on American Apparel tees. The models are also the founder's friends. The shirt my friend had on was the purple, black and white tiger, third picture. Peep em out!

What Not to Wear

Why is it that on What Not To Wear, they are always putting people in blazers. I don't know why they are acting like that is the only jacket style in the world. I mean I get it. It is universally flattering on every body type, that does not mean put it on everybody. Instead of showing them to wear mixed prints and patterns, show them how to mix up jackets too. But of course, a jacket that accentuates their nice figure.

Sorry I have not written a fashion blog in a while. I know, I know I promised. School has started, wisdom teeth were taken out, and I'm trying to up my days at the gym. Have any fashion related questions? Email me @ LeslyNichel@aim.com.

Thrifting adventures!

Thrifting was soo much fun today! I always do so well shopping with my coworker,Ryann. I wish I could have taken pictures of her buys also. She did great. I spent a total of $13. Ironically, that's all I had in my wallet because they do not take credit cards. I scored a zebra figurine in a resting position(I named him Oreo), a black quilted coco chanel purse, black sheer blouse/tunic with billowy sleeves, a black romper with gold buttons and a neon pink fanny pack! YES YES YES!
