Happy Monday!
I've been taking street style photos for the past two weeks. Photos of the kids of Atlanta who look impeccably AMAZING! It's for my Trends and Forecasting class and I couldn't be more excited. I'll upload them sometime next week after the project is due. Stay tuned! I got some great photos! I'll post some of my favorites!

A Place in the World
Please help my friend, Adam, out who is needs funding for his film, "A Place in the World". Through kickstarter.com, your donation will go towards sound design, music scoring, color correction, archival video releases and/or an entertainment lawyer specializing in fair use, marketing (P&A), film festival submission fees, and online delivery costs for the movie. Their goal is to get to $25,000. Currently they are at $13,685. If they do not make it to their goal by the deadline, your card will not be charged. Make a pledge today so the world can become aware! Support independent filmmakers and films!
Here is a short synopsis from the website about the film. "Right outside Atlanta, Georgia is a small charter school that brings together refugee children from war-torn countries all over the world and teaches them alongside local American children. A Place In The World follows three families with ties to the school, a first year teacher, and the new principal of the school over the course of two years, as they adapt to, and learn from, this diverse and complex social environment. The film asks the question of whether we can all live together in this rapidly changing world."

New Style Crush: Julia Sarr Jamois
Happy Tuesday!
If you have been a loyal reader or a personal friend of mine, you would know, that I am OBSESSED with Solange Knowles, sister of Beyonce'. She has been a personal style icon of mine for the last year and i plan on keeping it that way for years to come. Doing my usual daily blog roll, I logged into streetpeeper.com. This is one of my favorite blogs to read but I always forget to read it frequently. I came across this beautiful miss with the most beautiful afro and I was intrigued. Who is she?I have seen her all over these popular blogs every now and thenand I just thought she was some random girl who looked cool. Luckily, streetpeeper.com usually labels their photos with the model's name, so I decided to google her. This mademoiselle is a 23 year old fashion editor of Wonderland Magazine! She is from London, has done modeling for Fred Perry and Diesel and some freelance styling. Amazing right? She is like my British Solange! She mixes prints, tailored pieces, many textures, and colors. She is the epitome of effortless! Perfect mix of quirky, grunge, and structure. I've never heard of Wonderland magazine, but after reading it for hours last night and all of this morning, I think it is my new favorite magazine. The photos are beautiful and the page layouts are well done. I love that you can read all of the articles and view the editorial shoots online! For your viewing pleasure of how amazing this girl's style is, I'm uploading some of my favorite style photos! Thank you, StreetPeeper..... once again, you have inspired me!

Julia Sarr- Jamois
I just bought a polka dot sweater just like this except its grey and creme. It's super adorable, and super Julia Sarr.
That jumpsuit is to die for!
I have always loved the mix between stripes and prints. It always looks fun but not messy and disheveled! Is this your boyfriend Julia? I hope so, because his style is just as amazing.
Business/ Party...perfect lunch date outfits!
I want both of these fur coats in my closet right now + the glitter wedges. Who are these made by? Let's talk about this african yellow printed skirt too... I need to do some serious research.
I need to add gray triblend tights to my christmas wishlist, asap.
I remember seeing this cover in Barnes & Noble. I should've bought it when I had the chance. Reminds me of Lisa Frank..my childhood favorite. i was a true fan of her school supplies. i had everything Lisa Frank!
P.S. I'm considering starting either a youtube channel or podcast? Which one are you guys more likely follow?

A.Y. Not Dead
One of my new favorite designers that I found while working on a business plan for a specialty denim store for class. It has taken me hours to come across this brand as well as find some of styles I would like to sell in my "store." A.Y. Not Dead is an Argentine brand that rarely has an United States presence. They have about three stores in Argentina and sell to a few e- commerce sites, such as Fabricly, which is also a new favorite site of mine. I love this promo video for Summer 2012! I'm interested to see how this label grows and where they'll be in five years. If I ever did build a store, this would be a dream label to have! I would most definitely visit Argentina just to go to this store and shop.

WANTED: Mandy Coon
Mandy Coon, In Between Days Jumpsuit, $810, openingceremony.us
"Rough edged romanticism!"- Mandy Coon
I absolutely, positively ADORE this partial leather jumpsuit. This jumpsuit is perfect for any occasion. I could wear this to an art opening, go get coffee in this, go to an important interview in this, or even eat a humongus extra messy hamburger in this and still look amazing. I can do SO much with this if I had it! There are no accessories needed but would look great with bold necklaces, piled on rings or piled on bracelets. I could put a maxi skirt on top of this and turn it into a dress, wear it with a red blazer, wear a colorful floral turban, studded loafers, etc. This is really a fall must have and if I can spulrge on anything this fall, it would be this versatile, easy transitoning, chic piece. I love you Mandy Coon!
P.S. This model's gray hair dye job is AMAZING!

My adventure to the Sweet Auburn Farmers Market.
Woke up at 9 am Saturday morning to go to the Sweet Auburn Market with my friend Sydia. We had so much fun walking around, trying out new pastries and burritos from a place that was created in California. We found so many meats we have never seen before(Pig Ears, turkey feet,), pure honey and freshly baked bread. This market had a sit down area with many vendors selling Jamaican, Soul food, Burritos and even Indian food!
Head in a mountain of bread! I was so excited to be at the market!
My friend, Sydia, liked the sound of this!
Freshly baked cupcakes made by Sweet Auburn Bakery. I left with Pumpkin Tea Bread! It was sooo delicious!
Nothing but fresh, delicious, healthy veggies! I found some new veggies to cook with also!
I've never seen bell peppers that big and healthy before!
Wildflower honey....I was curious about this and what it actually tasted like. Unfortch, I didnt leave with any. I need to google it and find out more.
Black Eyed Peas by the pound!
I bought some sliced yams for $2 to make some at home.
After a long day, I needed to get some burritos in my system!
I plan on visiting the Decatur Farmers Market soon, which I hear is the best farmers market in Georgia, is ridiculously big(5 times bigger than this one) and has rows and rows of spices. I was looking for spices at the Sweet Auburn and they didn't have any, which was a bummer!
